Mission

Applicants are invited to:

- First, elaborate their research project with their proposed host laboratory,

- Second, contact the person in charge of this topic area at CNES (aurelien.sacotte@cnes.fr) to present the project and obtain feedback,

- Third, submit the complete application online (Apply) before March 13th, 2026 Midnight Paris time

Your application must include a letter from your Ph.D. supervisor, a letter from your future lab director, a detailed CV including university education and work experience, a list of publications, a 2-page description of the work undertaken during the course of your PhD and a 3-page description of your future research project as well as a few recommendation letters. 

The applications submitted are subject to a pre-selection for an audition during which the candidates defend their research project in front of a multidisciplinary scientific committee (in May 2026).
