Reporting directly to the management of the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (French Space Agency) / Guyana Space Center (CNES/CSG), the Quality-Reliability department is responsible for controlling the risks associated with the services provided by CNES/CSG, during launch campaigns.

 The Quality-Reliability department acts in all areas of activity, it deals with the application of the quality standard in day-to-day operation, during campaigns as well as in the context of maintenance and development of infrastructures. It ensures control of the operating safety characteristics of infrastructures under development and in operation. It contributes to the maintenance and development of the Quality Management System, in accordance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.

The holder will be responsible for the Continuous Improvement of CNES/CSG Quality Processes.

He will be asked to :

• Optimize the performance of CNES/CSG Quality processes,
• Promote continuous quality improvement, by leading working groups dedicated to process simplification,
• Develop, lead, plan, coordinate, monitor progress action plans, improvement and problem-solving projects,
• Deploy continuous improvement methods, such as LEAN tools,
• Participate in the integration of new tools or operating methods,
• Define, implement and monitor process performance indicators.
• Analyze and suggest improvements on the existing procedures / instructions.

Generalist engineer (or equivalent), with knowledge of the field of continuous improvement, and associated tools (LEAN, PDCA, 6 sigma...)
